Jesus was the first amongst the one Son of God (who appear to be many) to awaken completely from the ego’s dream of death. He represents the Christ, the Holy Self of which we all share. He undid the separation and fulfilled the Atonement principle completely on behalf of us all. He undid all errors the one Son of God mistakenly thought he made, including the concept of karma and death. The only reason we still appear to witness and experience suffering, is because we value free (ego) will, and this is the choice to suffer.
We chose to believe in our illusory, separated self rather than in our own True Will, which is shared with God. A Course in Miracles came to us from Jesus, to help us make another choice. This time, we can choose to release all pain and suffering through the willingness to drop our defenses to Love and healing. Yet our single unquestioned belief and our greatest unconscious defense against God, is the concept of death. And that is why if we sincerely desire true healing, then we must be willing to question and release the root of the ego’s entire thought system – death.
Jesus overcame the concept of death through his resurrection. He proved that death is a completely fabricated concept; death is the grand illusion upon which all illusions rest. All reality that death appears to have, comes exclusively from our uninvestigated belief in it.
The glue that keeps the entire ego dream together, is our deep and unconscious devotion to death in all its forms such as sickness, conflict, scarcity, pain and physical death. The degree we attempt to protect (defend) ourselves from these will indicate the level of our unconscious compulsion for death to come save us from awakening to the one God Self that we are and share. Death is the Grand-daddy of all illusions because it represents our ultimate fear of God; the fear of our Holy Self as Love itself.
Death symbolizes the fear of awakening to our Holy Self; the terror of recognizing our impeccable guiltlessness along with the infinite Power that this Identity wields. It’s the fear of remembering that our real Identity beneath the ego, share’s God’s Will and Power. In fact our Holy Self is God’s Will! And any form of suffering is not God’s Will. So to the degree we still perceive suffering, conflict, pain or sacrifice in ourselves, others or the world, is the extent that we’re still attached to maintaining the illusion of a separate self with an individual agenda apart from our Self Who is God’s Love made manifest.
“Death is the thought that you are separate from your Creator.” W-167.4.
If we remembered that there is no death, we would be faced with living Life; uninterrupted and eternal Life, here and now, in a body while it is useful to awakening. We would have to completely recall that everything we seem to see such as the body, others and the world are all projected outward from within our mind. We’d have to face that Life is not something that is happening to us out there. It’s all occurring in our mind right here and now. To the extent that it triggers us will tell us the degree of our own un-forgiveness, being our unrecognized compulsion for self-attack. And it’s this hidden un-forgiveness that seeks self-punishment in the form of suffering, conflict, scarcity and death.
“See how the belief in death would seem to “save” you. For if this were gone, what could you fear but life? It is the attraction of death that makes life seem to be ugly, cruel and tyrannical. You are no more afraid of death than of the ego. These are your chosen friends. For in your secret alliance with them you have agreed never to let the fear of God be lifted, so you could look upon the face of Christ and join Him in His Father.” T-19.IV.D.4.
The ego is terrified of God so it attempts to usurp the Power of God by killing our body. The ego believes that we are irrevocably guilty; that we have sinned beyond imagination. In the dark, musty hollows of its haunted past, lies a deathly and sinister secret, the single secret that spawns every fear we have. This one unrecognized secret is the solitary cause of the nebulous and persistent sense of threat that we encounter almost every day of our lives. It’s behind every urge to sustain and protect the body and the bodies of those we love.
The ego’s secret is it’s insane fear of God’s punishment. The ego, being an illusory and separate sense of “self”, believes that it betrayed God at the separation when it fled from God (Love) and made an illusory world to escape the imagined wrath of God. It’s been running ever since. This overwhelming sense of guilt is the fabricated core of our individual “self”; the ego. It’s nucleus is guilt and its seemingly independent existence is fed exclusively by fear and deprivation. Its most convincing trap being it’s most treasured escape from God, is the veil of death.
“Living is joy, but death can only weep. You see in death escape from what you made. But this you do not see; that you made death, and it is but illusion of an end. Death cannot be escape, because it is not life in which the problem lies. Life has no opposite, for it is God. Life and death seem to be opposites because you have decided death ends life. Forgive the world, and you will understand that everything that God created cannot have an end, and nothing He did not create is real.” M-20.5.
Our greatest fear is not death. Our supreme terror is to be found by God! Because the ego asks, “If God could find us…can you possibly imagine what he’d do to us for abandoning and betraying him?” Sickness, suffering and death are nothing compared to the agonizing terror of God finally catching up with us. Thus we hide from God in death. We hide from God in every instant we judge or feel guilt, and in every moment we suffer.
Through the ego we haven’t got a clue as to what God is; nor can we possibly fathom the infinite Love that is our Holy Self. The ego has projected its own version of “god”, and it’s a very judgmental, punishing god. While we believe and see this version of god, we will live our lives devoting our allegiance to the ego and death, rather than trusting in the one True God within.
The un-relinquished guilt we carry propels the ego’s unconscious compulsion for self-attack, and physical death is the ultimate in self-attack. The ego is so grossly arrogant that it believes it can usurp God. It attempts this by sentencing us to death (and all kinds of suffering in between); believing that by killing the body, it will alleviate a much more atrocious penalty from God.
“The ego believes that by punishing itself it will mitigate the punishment of God. Yet even in this it is arrogant. It attributes to God a punishing intent, and then takes this intent as its own prerogative. It tries to usurp all the functions of God as it perceives them, because it recognizes that only total allegiance can be trusted.” T-5.V.5:6-9
Deep down, we don’t really believe that death is release, relief, peace, Heaven, or Home. If we really did believe this, we could never fear death; we would celebrate it. Yet nearly every one fears death. Although not many realize that whatever we fear we inevitably must attract and manifest. But no one questions this obvious conflict because it’s the ego’s insanity behind it. The fact is that while death is real to us in any form, we will unconsciously fear God because we will believe that death comes from God. And in this belief we must reject God’s Truth as our Holy Self.
“There is no death because the living share the function their Creator gave to them. Life’s function cannot be to die. It must be life’s extension, that it be as one forever and forever, without end.” T-29.VI.4:9-11
“The body neither lives nor dies, because it cannot contain you who are life. If we share the same mind, you can overcome death because I did. Death is an attempt to resolve conflict by not deciding at all. Like any other impossible solution the ego attempts, [it will not work].” T-6.V.A.1:4-7.
Death is Not a Place we Go to
Death is not a place we go to after life. It is a state of mind that we bring about through our un-relinquished guilt. We don’t “go” anywhere in death. Death is a continuation of the ego’s dream of life. And the ego is retained in the dream of death. Death, being a state of mind (and not a destination that we arrive at), is an ego dream.
When the ego is undone in this dream of life, our perception is healed and transformed to the Real World (happy dream). We go from the ego’s dream of suffering, conflict, disease and death to the Holy Spirit’s dream of unopposed joy, peace, Love and Life. There is no suffering, conflict, disease or death in this state. When we have released all guilt through forgiveness, we can then “lay the body aside.” But Jesus is adamant that this is a joint decision made with Spirit. And that the body is not victimized by age, deterioration, sickness or pain. It is in perfect condition. In fact the body, which is completely neutral, becomes a mirrored consequence of complete forgiveness. As an “effect” it is the perfect counterpart of its healed “cause” in our mind. Cause (in the mind) and effect (the body or world) always remain together in our mind. Heal the cause and the effect must reflect its cause. This is how Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead.
“Cause and effect are one, not separate.” T-26.VII.13:1. “The miracle is possible when cause and consequence are brought together, not kept separate.” T-26.VII14:1. “A major step in the Atonement plan is to undo error at all levels.” T-2.IV.2:1
We need the body as our primary vehicle to awaken from the ego’s dream of suffering and death. If death is the ego’s greatest defense against God’s Love, then it’s obvious that it is only in the body and life that healing takes place. Once the body’s purpose has been transferred from the ego to Spirit then it is no longer our body; it becomes the Christ’s body because it has become the means through which we extend forgiveness. And in the service of Love the body cannot suffer.
While we mindlessly abdicate our power to suffering and physical death over and over, we maintain that death is, 1) our savior, and 2) more powerful than God’s unopposed and all-encompassing Life. We need the body abdicated to and joined in God’s Will, in order to undo everything that we made to claim us hostage to a dream of death; a dream that we erroneously call life. Something that is believed to terminate inevitably in death should never be mistaken for Life.
Living through the ego is living death. No wonder we look to death as escape, as relief from the body and the ego’s incessant conflict of life. And no wonder so many have mistakenly looked to death as Heaven or Home in God.
While we believe that death is more powerful than God’s Love then we unknowingly reject our Holy Self. Our dream of death separates us from remembering just Who we are in God’s perfection. And while we continue to value death in all its forms, we delay our awakening from the ego’s death cycle.
“The ego is not a traitor to God, to Whom treachery is impossible. But it is a traitor to you who believe that you have been treacherous to your Father. That is why the undoing of guilt is an essential part of the Holy Spirit’s teaching. For as long as you feel guilty you are listening to the voice of the ego, which tells you that you have been treacherous to God and therefore deserve death. You will think that death comes from God and not from the ego because, by confusing yourself with the ego, you believe that you want death. And from what you want God does not save you.” T-12.VII.14.
“When you are tempted to yield to the desire for death, [remember that I did not die.] You will realize that this is true when you look within and [see] me. Would I have overcome death for myself alone?” T-12.VII.15:1-2
Where Else but in the Body will You Awaken?
The ego keeps the illusion of time dragging wearily onward through its relentless and repetitious escapes into death in attempts to flee from awakening into the God Self that we are. Death is the “fear of God.” Death is amnesia and the invitation to yet another illusory birth. But a birth into what? Let’s be honest here. In the ego’s illusion of life, we are born with amnesia. We have no idea that our sole purpose is to undo the separate sense of self called the ego by learning to forgive everyone and everything. On the contrary. In this paradigm we are taught to judge and condemn everyone and everything including ourselves.
This ego’s plan is to teach us that the sum of our identity amounts to a fragile body destined for inevitable destruction. It’s entire world including all its special relationships are based on death (fear) and not on life (Love). The ego’s intent is to distract us so completely by the body that it utterly eclipses Truth in our awareness; which is that we are not the body, nor are we even in a body. We are the eternally guiltless Children of God who share the same Power of God’s Mind. The ego’s role is to keep us distracted in the delusion of powerlessness and helplessness; trapped in a dream of death that we mistakenly believe is life.
“You suffer pain because the body does, and in this pain are you made one with it. Thus is your “true” identity preserved, and the strange, haunting thought that you might be something beyond this little pile of dust silenced and stilled. For see, this dust can make you suffer, twist your limbs and stop your heart, commanding you to die and cease to be.” W-136.8:3-5
“Thus is the body stronger than the truth, which asks you live, but cannot overcome your choice to die. And so the body is more powerful than everlasting life, Heaven more frail than hell, and God’s design for the salvation of His Son opposed by a decision stronger than His Will.” W-136.9:1-2
Yet the body is completely powerless to change in appearance. On its own it is neutral; it obeys no ego laws of decay or change or death. It has no power to shift or change of itself. It cannot get sick nor become well unless we tell it to through our mind. All biological laws arise from the ego and not from God. The body is purely an “impartial image” that we project in every new instant; its state is derived from either guilt or guiltlessness, depending upon which inner teacher governs the body. It has but one cause, in our mind. And while we allow the majority of our mind to lurk in darkened guilt, then the ego will continue to unconsciously use the body, others and the world for attack.
“You think that death is of the body. Yet it is but an idea, irrelevant to what is seen as physical. A thought is in the mind. It can be then applied as mind directs it. But its origin is where it must be changed, if change occurs. Ideas leave not their source. The emphasis this course has placed on that idea is due to its centrality in our attempts to change your mind about yourself. It is the reason you can heal. It is the cause of healing. It is why you cannot die. Its truth established you as one with God.” W-167.3.
In the ego’s world, rarely are we raised by ascended masters. We are raised by the un-relinquished ego’s of our parents or caretakers. The aim? To build a bigger ego of course! To learn how to seek for special love and how to accomplish in the world. In a nutshell, the aim of the world is to teach us that we are guilty and incomplete and that we must seek “outside ourselves” for completion through relationships and accomplishments.
Some begin to remember the Holy purpose of life and commence the arduous journey of undoing the false-self, the same one the world helped us build. And then if we haven’t quite accomplished remembering our Holy Self in its entirety, the body dies, and we escape into the amnesia of death and birth – again. And the cycle of time continues with each unconscious descent into death and rebirth into a body. The ego’s central dream of death remains inviolate until we decide with Spirit, to look at and undo the ego’s unconscious compulsion for death.
All Spiritual paths are helpful in the gradual awakening from the ego’s repetitious birth and death cycle. Yet Jesus’ pathway is by far the quickest at collapsing time; remember that time equals suffering.
Think about this. Where else but in the body will we overcome the ego’s central dream being the concept of death itself? If death is the final and greatest defense against our return to Love then we need the body completely abdicated to Spirit, in order to overcome death in all its forms. We will use the body to overcome the dream of death just as Jesus did 2,000 years ago.
“The central lesson is always this; that what you use the body for it will become to you. Use it for sin or for attack, which is the same as sin, and you will see it as sinful. Because it is sinful it is weak, and being weak, it suffers and it dies. Use it to bring the Word of God to those who have it not, and the body becomes holy. Because it is holy it cannot be sick, nor can it die.” M-12.5:1-5
The Bathtub Analogy ~ A Symbol of the Vastness of Jesus’ Teaching
Recently, I was given an insight, a simple analogy that gives us a tiny glimpse of the sheer magnitude of Jesus’ teaching, comparatively speaking. We’ll use a symbol to portray the whole universal ego dream from the beginning of the separation till the end of time. Imagine an Olympic swimming pool sized bath filled to the brim with water. The water represents the fabric of our universal dream of duality; complete with the seemingly endless cycle of time, space, karma, birth and death. This is the ego’s dream of guilt, fear, death and suffering.
This gigantic bathtub’s capacity to retain such a vast quantity of water (suffering) is made possible only, by an enormous plug. This plug represents our unquestioned belief in death as being a power greater than our Power in God. So, our belief in death as an idol above God, is the single obsession that maintains the entire illusion of suffering. Remember that if death is real for anything, there can be no God. Death denies life and God.
There are many helpful Spiritual teachings, and they all contribute to the undoing of the suffering dream. However, they may seem to teach that death is an illusion, yet they still believe that death is a natural and legitimate part of life in the ego dream. Many even justify death and attempt to integrate two mutually exclusive and completely irreconcilable concepts, being death and God.
Jesus’ teaching is uncompromising. He states that God is life. Period. Whether we think we are here in this dream, or not. There cannot be God and pain, God and sickness, God and death. God is life. And there is no opposite of God. So there cannot be life and death, unless we believe we are separate from our Source.
“If death is real for anything, there is no life. Death denies life. But if there is reality in life, death is denied. No compromise in this is possible. There is either a god of fear or One of Love… He did not make death because He did not make fear.” M-27.4:2-6,9.
Jesus is appealing to us to learn this Truth in our experience; now, and not after the illusion of death has claimed our bodies thus leading us into yet another birth cycle of amnesia. We do this by choosing to forgive all illusions that remain apart from Love. As we commit to accomplish this, we demonstrate here and now, that we are under no laws but God’s. And while we continue to believe in a dualistic “god of suffering and death”, we will not know of our complete invulnerability in God’s Love.
God and death in its myriad forms? Only one is true. There is either God or; there is pain, sickness and death.
“And the last to be overcome will be death.” Of course! Without the idea of death there is no world. All dreams will end with this one. This is salvation’s final goal; the end of all illusions. And in death are all illusions born. What can be born of death and still have life? But what is born of God and still can die? … Do you not see that otherwise He has an opposite, and fear would be as real as love?” M-27.6:1-8,11.
As far as I know, Jesus’ pathway in A Course in Miracles, is the only teaching that targets the nucleus of our fear of God, being our unconscious attraction to death. Until we dare to examine our deepest of all fears being the fear of God, then the plug of death that keeps the whole universal ego dream afloat, will stay.
While many teachings other than Jesus’ teaching in A Course in Miracles, are certainly helpful, they do not address the nucleus, the giant plug of death that keeps the whole ego dream alive. And so they might be responsible for draining the universal “bath of suffering“ by one drop every thousand years. At this pace, it may empty in thousands or even millions of years in the illusion of time. And because we are all one literally, this means that we won’t be perfectly and fully Home…until every sleeping mind has returned to sanity and the bath is empty.
Here is the significance of Jesus’ deeper teaching as outlined in A Course in Miracles. By his resurrection and Atonement, he has already seized that giant plug called “death”, and he has wrenched it right out of the bath of suffering!
In just moments, the dream of suffering is drained clean. No more death, means no more separation. And sure, we can awaken to some level of relative peace here in the dream, through all kinds of Spiritual practices. But Jesus’ pathway of forgiveness, Atonement and miracles, is vertical; slicing straight through and collapsing the horizontal time plane, one that involves laborious trials and many lifetimes of karma.
Jesus was the first in the long dream of separation to go beyond all Spiritual teachings and pathways by demonstrating literally that there is no death. In his resurrection and Atonement, he undid the ego’s central dream; death. And in so doing, he proved that we are perfectly guiltless and therefore, wholly invulnerable.
In negating death, Jesus erased our guilt which is the fear of God and with it, he undid the ego’s concept of karma. As a symbol of the one Son of God, the one Christ Mind that we all share, Jesus went before us and made the path straight. He gifted us with the Atonement and miracles, the now moment portal to instant healing.
When Jesus reversed the ego’s concept of guilt, fear and death through his resurrection, you were there with him. As an eternally treasured member of the one Mind of God, your Holy Self partook of this resurrection. If you don’t accept this fact yet it’s because you have not been ready to accept and receive your perfect healing. When you are ready, you will simply “accept” your healing. This is what the Atonement is for…acceptance. The Atonement is already complete. All dreams are already undone. You are simply experiencing the ego’s echo until you wholeheartedly desire only the Love of God. When Love is all you want then Love is all you will experience. Jesus did not die for our sins. Quite the opposite. He proved that there is no sin by overcoming the ego’s most aggressive defense against God’s Love, – death. He demonstrated the powerlessness of the ego’s most violent attack. And he rose from the ego’s dream of death to show us that only in our guiltlessness and defenselessness, our true invulnerability lies.
And what does the end of death mean? Remember that Jesus already overcame the ego along with its central dream being death. He asked us more than 2,000 years ago to join him in his resurrection. But did we? No. We were still too terrified of Love. Now, two millennia further into the illusion of time and suffering, he gifted us with A Course in Miracles. A miraculous road map to lead us Home to the glory of God’s Love within.
Heaven is not a place we go to. Heaven is our natural state when guilt and death no longer remain as our darkest idols. But while they do, we keep fear on our inner altar instead of Love. Jesus’ journey was the last useless journey to the cross. His resurrection freed us all from dreams of death. He accomplished this on behalf of all of us. Are we ready to accept our eternal guiltlessness?
Jesus speaks below of this period, the “resurrection” where we renounce guilt and death in all its forms.
“Very simply, the resurrection is the overcoming or surmounting of death. It is a reawakening or a rebirth; a change of mind about the meaning of the world. It is the acceptance of the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of the world’s purpose; the acceptance of the Atonement for oneself. It is the end of dreams of misery, and the glad awareness of the Holy Spirit’s final dream. It is the recognition of the gifts of God. It is the dream in which the body functions perfectly, having no function except communication. It is the lesson in which learning ends, for it is consummated and surpassed with this. It is the invitation to God to take His final step. It is the relinquishment of all other purposes, all other interests, all other wishes and all other concerns. It is the single desire of the Son for the Father.” M-28.1.
“The resurrection is the denial of death, being the assertion of life. Thus is all the thinking of the world reversed entirely.” M-28.2:1-2 “There is no death. The Son of God is free. And in his freedom is the end of fear. No hidden places now remain on earth to shelter sick illusions, dreams of fear and misperceptions of the universe.” M-28.4:2-5

Fascinating! I would be interested to know how you feel Anorexia plays into this concept?
Anorexia is a form of sickness. The Course refers to all “forms” of sickness as one and the same; there is no heirarchy of sickness despite their seeming differences. The reason they’re all the same is because they arise from a single cause being unconscious guilt. This is our unconscious self-hatred that is projected onto the body. Having suffered this particular sickness myself more than 35 years ago, I recognize that for some, they might see more value in keeping the sickness. We have to be ready to look deeply, with radical self-inquiry, to ask just what the “pay-offs” are in keeping it.

In avoiding reading this lively gift for 24 hours, it was physical hunger and sleeplessness that finally nudged me awake. In the simple act of being awake in the stillness of night, I somehow felt the gentle pull to look at this article. Yet, until I realized that reading it on my own, with ego as my guide, was creating more fear, I was not ‘getting’ it. So I had the awareness to ask Holy Spirit to join with me in reading the rest of it…and such a difference! I am reminded, again, by experience, that I am choosing every moment between ego lies or Truth. I feel such gratitude for this opportunity to forgive myself for believing, momentariy, in something that is not Who I Am…that is, the Innocent and Immortal, Unceasing Thought of Love which is One with my Creator…from Whom I have never left. Excellent work, Nouk! Very deep and true. It always brings mne something new to incorporate in my own work and helps me move on in the undoing process. I would say I have a very prodigious and insightful communication with the Holy Spirit, yet your work always comes to complete it. The way you present Jesus’s teaching in ACIM as the quickest way lighted me up and helped me improve my perception again, and for that I’m very grateful to you.
A single comment I’d have if you don’t mind and I think is important: you say at one point that “Death is “the fear of God”” and I think there is a difference between death and fear in the sense that fear is an emotion and death is a mind construct, a thought. Without fear, death cannot exists in our minds, because fear is the fuel that keeps the concept of death “alive” in our mind. No thought can create reality if it doesn’t have an asociated emotion. Guilt, fear, hatred, shame are all emotions that fuel the whole thought system of death and all the other illusions that stem from death.
In my undertsanding, there are two components in the undoing process: emotional purification which is our task and thought undoing which is Holy Spirit’s task, at our request.
Jesus says in ACIM: “The correction of fear is your responsability.” T-2.VI.4. and “You may still complain about fear, but you nevertheless persist in making yourself fearful. I have already indicated that you cannot ask me to release you from fear” T-2.VII.1
From my experience, releasing the fear, under the guidance of Holy Spirit, is the most difficult part, becuase we have to feel it and face it and this is scary. Holy Spirit will guide us and undo the thought system at our request but will not release the emotions in our place because it would actually hurt us. We are the ones to face the fears and go through them back into the Light. There are several emotional release techniques that I used over the years and continue to use on a moment to moment basis 🙂 and they proved extremely valuable to me.

Is there a difference between death and fear?
In my experience, no. Death and fear are both a single “belief”; one that is apart from God’s all-encompassing Love. Thus they are the one belief that we are separate from God. Regardless of the emotion, there is always only one belief to heal. And that is the belief that I am separate from God.
When we believe what the emotion is telling us is true, we separate it from being healed. If I experience a negative emotion and I link it to a cause “outside” me, such as my childhood abuse, then I have misplaced the real cause which is my unconscious guilt. Because I see the cause in the past (or in another, in my body or in the world), I unknowingly separate the true cause of my emotion from healing. Genuine healing occurs when I recognize that my emotional response is a symptom of my unhealed guilt. The cause is guilt and the effect is my emotion.
Real healing is available to me now because I have placed the cause and effect together where they can both be healed; in my mind. If I place the cause of my distress as being in my childhood then I separate cause and effect so they cannot be healed. This is what the ego does in its attempts at false healing. It first tells us the cause is somewhere outside us either in the body, the past, others or the world. While we’re busily distracted trying to heal these mistaken “causes”, the real and only cause of all our suffering is left unrecognized and therefore, un-remedied. Such is the ego’s game plan.
To heal we must place cause and effect in their right order. The one cause of my negative emotional reactions is always unconscious guilt regardless of the form. And my emotional response is purely an effect. The real purpose of emotional healing is to recognize the one cause (guilt as unconscious self-attack) and to offer it to Spirit in exchange for a miraculous perceptional shift.

First, you know I carry a lot of respect for you personally and for your work; second,I don’t want to seem intrusive since this is your blog, but I partially diagree and I think the topic is so important and I will try to reformulate my ideas so that I better convey my message.
I totally agree with you that fear is a byproduct of unconscious guilt and cannot exist in absence of guilt. But you say that death and fear are both a single “belief” and I say that fear is an emotion and death is a thoughtform. While they are inseparable in scope – the belief in separation from God – they are different in function, in the way that death is the thoughtform, the container metaphorically speaking, and the fear is the emotion, the filling of the container. Together they give reality to the beleif in separation. To awaken from the dream of death we have to release the fear (to dump out the filling from the container)and to undo (to collapse) the thought construct of death. The other aspect is that fear (filling) can fill more thoughtforms(containers) like god, people, money, body etc. Our job is to emptythe containers and Holy Spirit’s job is to undo the thoughtforms at our request. Ultimately, in the Happy Dream, once we have cleared all the guilt and fear from our thoughtforms we will decide what forms we will want to keep and will fill them with Love so that we can enjoy our creations in this physical reality.
From a more practical perspective, the emotion filling of a thoughtform gives the electrical charge of the thoughtform that will translate into negative or positive projections of that specific thoughtform. E.g. money – negative charge with fear create debts, positive charge with Love crates assets and so on. In my understanding, in this undoing process that sometimes looks like it never ends :)we have to dump out the guilt with itsbyproducts of fear and hatred so that we can collapse the unwanted thoughtforms and make way to Light to get in and fill us and the thoughtforms that we choose to play with in the Happy Dream.

Thanks Leonard! My interpretation of this process of undoing is very simple. I can’t wrap my head around anything complicated. In my experience it’s incredibly simple (but not so easy, LOL!). We agree, that seeing and releasing the fear to Spirit, is our responsibility. Then Spirit can undo the unconscious guilt (belief) that caused it. The Atonement has shown me that the less I think/analyze…the more I can leave the process up to Spirit. I’ve found that in the past I have over-thought and analyzed…so now for me, I am being guided to simplify with Spirit. I can see that you are going through your healing process with Spirit, and that it is really helpful. Whatever healing process any one of us is guided to do WITH Spirit, is always going to be helpful.

I read somewhere ‘There is no Death, for Death is not his will’. I now understand…
I recognise more deeply every day that there is no death simply because there is no individual life in reality, only the illusion of it. I live the Holy Instant fully aware of this.
The physical I exists only as an opportunity to recognise the truth of my self – as being an integral extension of the unity of God, existing in totality and eternity.
By projecting a holographic self into a focal point in Time I get to recognise the mirror of existence for what it is, and also for what it is not.
Now I truly understand what a ridiculous idea Death really is.

Oh Thank You Nouk!!!! You have a beautiful way of organizing My thoughts. I go back and forth into the illusion of my body. Now taking on the game of “Find the Fear”, I see how simple it will be to express, and release to Holy Spirit… And it is done… There is nothing else to do.
Also, I loved Leonard’s share from above. Again thank you for bringing in the technology of our thinking and how to best handle our thoughts and releasing them to Holy Spirit by the emotion thread we need to pull.

For I am juste starting the Course and see that I put a lot of culpability in food and transmitted this to my children. I come from a family where food is very important and can see that the food issue is very charged with love and culpability. How can I undo this and does this mean they can and I can eat absolutely anything in any order or not even eat at all ? Concretly my sons is a sugar addict and I heard that this was bad so I try to restrict him on chocolate and sweets but he internalises this guilt. And has had some carries on his teeth, would these be the external sings of his guilt ? Also, in general I wanted to know if you would have any recommendations -or books- on how to raise children with the principles of the Course in Miracles. For I am wondering if it is also good for them to go to school…I am all mixed up…

Hi Kyle, these teachings are from A COURSE IN MIRACLES, authored by Jesus. He corrected much of what “man”, via his ego, misinterpreted in the Bible. Fear of God is the unconscious fear we have of Love itself. In other words, it the terror of remembering that we ARE the Son of God – the Christ, the one Identity we all share beneath the illusion of the ego. 🙂
